Making her Daddy proud

Tony went to Super Franks with Leila and I last week (and actually again this morning) and little miss Leila played with the firefighter things almost the entire time.

He was so proud.

Cheffy Poo

Chef Leila helped me bake some cookies last weekend. We made Andes Mint Chocolate Chip cookies and they were delicious. Leila definitely gave them the magic touch!

Thanks, Auntie!

Thank you so much for the dress, Auntie Linda! Leila looooooves it and is wearing it (again!) today! Thank you for my dress, also! ; )

Darn you, Gymboree!

Seriously, that store gets me EVERY time. At least they're having a huge sale, and it's Gymbucks time! Leila got a bunch of adorable Fall clothes, and hair accessories...and one last pair of summer shoes that she refused to take off! Leila and I are ready for Fall!

Leila at the Daddy Spa

The day before we left for vacation I got to sleep in, and I woke up to a surprise...Leila had bright pink (OPI's Strawberry Margarita, to be exact) toenails! She was sooooo excited about her pretty new toenails, that were painted the same as mine. All throughout our Hawaiian vacation she'd point down to her toes and say "Mama's toes." Then one day she noticed her polish was starting to come off, so she went to Tony - "Daddy, peez? Peez? Toes!" So, he touched them up AND painted her fingernails.

*Sigh* When did my little baby turn into a big girl who's old enough to want her fingers and toes painted? Yesterday while Leila and Tony were watching football Leila decided she need another touch up, so she went to Tony and asked. She is getting too big too fast!

Leila, the hula baby!

We are back from Hawaii and had a great time! Leila did really well traveling (and there were a lot of flights!) She loved Hawaii even more than I thought she would! When she went to the first beach in Kauai she wasn't in love - the waves were a little too high for her liking, and she didn't dig the sand. Then we put on her crocs - her "magic shoes" and she was much more confident and comfortable. By the time we went to Maui she was a regular beach baby. She loved playing in the waves, and building sand castles!

Tony and I took her to the Maui Ocean Center, and we all loved it! They had a turtle exhibit going on, and Leila kept saying "turtle, turtle!" She also loved the giant shark tank - she is such her mama's girl!

We went to the Royal Lahaina Luau and Leila had a blast! She loved the food, but she especially loved the dancing and the music!! Here are a handful of pictures, throughout the trip! There will be more on my blog over the next few days!

Aloha!
