Leila's new crib

So, unfortunately Leila's crib was recalled. Boo! We had to jump through a bunch of hoops to get a voucher for the price of the old crib, but it finally came yesterday. After searching Babies 'R Us for a loooooong time (takes forever when you have a paranoid daddy knocking on all the crib slats...) we finally found Leila the perfect new crib. It's beautiful, and matches her other furniture perfectly. Tony feels much better about this crib since the backside is solid wood, and all of the crib slats are solid - not hollow. This one is fancier (read: more expensive!) but Leila absolutely loves it, and it's safe, which is all that matters!

Here she is, tesing it out (yes, she is in a bikini.)

Fairyland

Today we went to Children's Fairyland in Oakland. Tony and I decided that if we never went back again we would be perfectly happy, but Leila seemed to have a good time. She especially loved the little train!

Extreme bedhead

This is the hair my baby woke up from her nap with the other day. Love it!

Leila's new favorite song

I have to admit - it's catchy.

More pics!

I told you a while back that we had the privilege of Leila doing a photo shoot with the very talented Katie Gardner. Well, I just finished uploading some of the *cutest* pictures I've ever seen! Here are some, and I will add a few more to my other blog! (http://www.leilasmom.blogspot.com/) Enjoy!

Tilden Park

Sorry for the brain fart, folks - I totally thought I posted these pictures already! Anyways, last week we went to Tilden Park with some friends - Phil, Traci and Chase (who's two months older than Leila.) Unfortunately the pony rides were closed, as well as the carousel but we still had a great day! Both kids looooooved the steam train! They sat next to each other almost the entire time, held hands, and Chase kept giving Leila kisses on the cheek!

We then went to the Little Farm and saw lots of farm animals. The kids impressed us with their animal sounds! We had a fabulous time and can't wait for the pony ride to open up again!
